Angles in Reflection, Luca Romanyi© 2012
Luca is fascinated by geometric shapes. She transposes them into different environments, joins them or takes them apart like an infinite puzzle game. In this exhibition, reflective surfaces and how they affect her chosen shapes are in focus. Some of the pieces play with refraction of surrounding lights while the wearer is in movement. Other, smaller objects feature tiny mirrors to create ethereal geometric patterns and forms in a secret, intimate way. Luca’s goal is to create visually stunning jewellery that is not only interesting for the first look but which continues to keep the viewer mesmerised.
